Tiddly Tuesday - Wryn and Emmy BFF AND a Question for You

Hello all my lovely Inkers! :) It is all about best friends today. :0 Wryn definitely needed a best friend, so I would like to introduce you to Emmy. :) It was suggested that they are alike enough to be sisters, and I would agree that many sisters are best friends, so either way it works. :)

And the DT (as always my rocks and inspiration) shared some lovely samples with us today. :)

And now a question for you. :)
How many of you would like to be able to use Wryns as rubber stamps or clear stamps?
I am considering making some Wryns either as rubber or clear stamps, but I don't know which one people would prefer, or even if they would prefer to have a physical product. So I thought I would ask.  :) I don't do much rubber stamping myself (I like to print and color big digi images...hehe), so what type of options do you like best? Cling mounting? Clear stamps? Which type would you rather work with? Rubber stamps? Clear photo-polymer stamps? Or do you prefer digital and wouldn't invest in either rubber or clear?

If you would be so kind as to leave a comment or vote in this quick (literally 2-second) survey, then I would have a better idea of what people would like. :)

Just click the link and it will take you to 2 questions to answer...
https://app.icontact.com/icp/sub/survey/start?sid=2116&cid=929335

Or feel free to comment away.....tell me what you like, what you think....inquiring minds NEEEEED to know. hehe

I sooooo love this new wryn as you might understand!!
Its so seldom I find anything with my name on it, and then something as cute as this!!!!

I love digis, they're so flexibel and I love that I can get a new image in just a couple of minutes!!!
But I also love having a stamp to hold in my hand! :)

Hi Christy,

These two are adorable... totally best buddies!

Re stamps... I prefer rubber stamps mainly due to the quality although I have found one line of clear polymer stamps that stamp really well (they are the new ones from The Greeting Farm). All of my others I find leave blurry edges. My preference is for cling mounted rubber, but either way is fine as long as they are good quality. Rubber stamps I have found to stamp really well are: The Greeting Farm cling mounted, Lili of the Valley just rubber and Stamping Bella just rubber.

I hope that helps! I am very keen to see your Wryn's make it to physical stamps!

is it ok for me to admit that i'm addicted to wryn and can't wait for tuesdays to see a new image? she and her bff are super adorable! i do like rubber stamps but i would prefer clear just cause i like to see what/where i'm stamping. but if wryn were only available as a digi, i'd still buy her, she's that cute! and digis are more affordable since i don't think i could buy all the different images if she were a physical stamp.

Omg these are so adorable Christy!! Dang I just did up a birthday card for my bestie yesterday...tempted to make another LOL! Just about to fill in your survey...tough call between stamp/digi though! But I must admit, even though digis are really flexible...sometimes it's just nice to have a stamp with a set size and I find it is quicker just to stamp and get colouring :) I would definitely buy some tiddly stamps!

Love these two! Unfortunately my printer has decided not to cooperate any more so I have put digis on hold for now. I filled out your survey, but I'll just say here that I'd love real stamps as well. I have both rubber and clear so it doesn't really matter which one.

I would love a rubber stamp! I have the hardest time with digis. Part of it might be the printer but I can't re-size them on my mac all that well and its just a hot mess so I tend to shy away from them.

My favorite is digital and that is because it has a clear solid line and i can make it whatever size i want. Now i do that with manual stamping as well...i will stamp and scan my images, but they do not give me a clear line like digital stamps. Also, i like instant gratification..doesn't teach patience too well. :) If i HAD to choose i would pick clear, because the new material seems to stamp better...and because i can see where i am stamping. thanks Christy for the gorgeous images..i love them!

I love rubber stamps but they are just never going to be as affordable as digis. I just bought two rubber stamps that ended up costing me about $10 each. I love the images but then I think of how many tiddly inks I could buy and I felt kind of sick. I have a limited income so I cannot often justify purchasing a rubber stamp but I CAN justify spending $3 for a digi! I'm sure other people would love to have stamps but please keep the digis coming!

Oh this is sooo cute!! I do prefer digis overall as I like to resize, but being a bit of a "cover all bases" kinda gal I also like cling or transparents "just in case" my computer crashes but also to use up my smaller bits of paper that are too small to go through the printer. :)

I really love Wryn and i would be glad if you made some in clear stamps. I love my digi stamps a lot but sometimes you travel away and then i love to bring some stamps with me - so i can stamp and color if i like to.

So i would like to have digis and clear stamps:)

Aw!! This stamp could not have come at a better time for me Christy!! Woo hoo!! They are adorable!
As for your question, I love stamps that are the rubber w/ cling mount, but clear is fine too. It's much easier to paper piece when you are in a hurry and need that so last minute card. Otherwise, I've been getting used to working with digis. So versatile!
Thanks again!!

hi Christie....love the digital stamps only just getting use to them, think i'm now preferring them to rubber stamping and much easier to store...although I think it would be easier to paper piece with rubber stamps.

thanks for bring us awesome images and great inspiration, keep up the good work

can i ask one thing....do you know your little car logo for the checkout on the shop site....is that available for download, as would be perfect for a just passed your test card????

many thanks angie x

I make do with the digital...they are certainly economical and provide instant gratification! I do however like to have a physical stamp, for one thing to paper piece, and another because my pc is not in my stamp room and I have to go up and down the stairs, sometimes several times, lol! I am fine with clear stamps if they are good quality. They are a bit easier to place than rubber too. But I definitely go unmounted, easy to use, easy to store! Love Wryn! Have a great night!

I'm so happy I found your blog. I love your images. I love stamping and my fav right no are the cling mount rubber stamps. You can also give the option for purchase with the cling mount. Hope you get some stamps soon, I may have too get some digi images they are just tooo cute.

Wryn and Emmy are just adorable! And you are right that your DT does a wonderful job with their samples. I just love digis since then I can get coloring right away instead of pulling out a block and ink and heat setting it. I'm not patient and I hate smudges.

I love Wrynn and have all but the most recent digis, because they are affordable (and thanks to your recent sale, I was able to get the ones I liked to add to the ones I had to have.) I would also like to have physical stamps of several of the images for when I don't have time to crank up my old computer that's connected to my preferred printer. I like cling mounted rubber stamps or the clear stamps, as long as they produce a clean image. I do NOT like the unmounted stamps (like at Stamping Bella), because it took me a long time to mount them so they were easier for my daughter to use. How many I buy would depend not only on the price of the stamp, but also the shipping costs - I can't always afford to buy a 'minimum' $ amount to get a better deal on shipping. Please continue to offer all the images digitally, but I would definitely love to have the physical stamps.

I would love, love for you to make the Wryns into rubber or polymer... I don't have a preference as I have never had a problem with either.... Thanks again for asking.. I would purchase them all!!

I'm a digi kind of girl. I have rubbah, but it seldom gets used. Love the Wrynn's new BFF Emmy.

Very sweet cards. i love clear stamps as i enjoy paper piecing and with digital it is still doable but not exactly as with clear stamps.

If it's not a digital stamp, I head for the high quality clear stamps section at my local stores.
