Flower Freebie

The flowers below are based on some of my daughter's artwork.

I had fun making this little garden into a digital stamp and some design paper. The pumpkin paper below is a freebie (just click for the larger version), but the paper in the shop listing comes with several color variations in a zip.

Thanks! Soccer Pin-Back Button Design Freebie

I have been pretty busy lately (with what I am not really sure, but I have been I doing stuff...you know, important stuff LOL) and one of the things I created was this design for members of my daughter's soccer team.  I won't go into why, but we quit said team....I am not a team person (I was the school newspaper nerdy editor....which is definitely the closest I ever came to a team LOL) and apparently it is genetic. During the first game, my darling little athlete spent the time making shadow puppets with her body and inspecting people on the sidelines instead of kicking the ball. She couldn't care less and, guess what, she is 6...we gots lotsa time to make that a relevant lesson...say, when she is a much more mature 7 or 8...or maybe 40. LOL
So we decided that our family is better off spending those 4 hours a week playing at home and relaxing, instead of driving, dressing, shin-guarding, and shadow puppeting!!!! It is all about priorities you know. :)

Before we quit though, I had to make the gift bags and snacks (yup, the players got weekly gift bags...hmmm, maybe we should re-evaulate LOL), so I made pin-back buttons (I have one of those neato Tecre machines :D) with this design and their team name.
I thought I would offer it as a freebie to anyone who has a button maker or circle cutter...You can click on the image and then save it. The digital stamp version of soccer Annie is available here. :)

Freebie and Challenge 23 - Crackle or Diamond Glaze

Hi ya everyone,
Can you believe it is already fall? Wow...well, I hope you enjoy the swiftly moving calendar becuase we are ready for a new challenge....let's break out the crackle or diamond glaze!

And just a note that you are going to want to check the blog every day this week for a goodie.... :)

For Challenge 23, my project used part of a new stamp--Door of Dreams. This is a book/box decorated with a red dream door as a gift to go on my hubby's desk at school, so it is pretty simple and manly..no ribbons or sparkle. LOL

The door stamp set also comes with a second open door with a creepy pair of eyes and hands....great for halloween.:) You will have to paper piece the hands and eyes...or you can use photo editing software to layer the elements.

I also have a freebie for you today...a crackly background paper. Download it here on the blog by clicking on the picture below and then saving it (or go to our PCP page. :) 

This design paper would be great for the challenge this week. :)

On Friday October 1, I will be having a mini-release with more new stamps (a wide mix of stuff) and papers...

Freebie and Challenge 22 - Sketch It

Hi everyone, 
We have a great sketch (find it here) for our challenge this week. I hope you enjoy. This one is for my dad using a new image I created for him and another special dad. :) My dad's favorite color is green (because my daughter assigned it to him...mine is purple) and he built my house when my daughter was born---so thus he can never get too many thank you cards for that. :)

Carpenter Joe is the new image in the shop this week and he comes with the hammer and the workbox all zipped in the file. :) Those would be great on their own too. :)

Our freebie this week is actually 4 small files all zipped together. You can find them here in our PCP group. You must be a member to download the zip file, but if you aren't, just ask. :)

Sharing Some Love

Hi guys, wanna share some love? I just registered on a digital stamping rating site and I was hoping for some help rating my site. If you would like to rate Tiddly Inks (pretty please, be nice LOL), you can stop by this site and I am currently number 10....of 10. LOL I think it is a new site, but hey, all publicity is appreciated. :) 
You might find some new digital sites there too...but don't forget about me. :) 


And speaking of other digital companies, I found an adorable one tonight. I don't normally promote the "competition," (you know what I mean...LOL) but I really loved each image on this site and I think you guys might too....so in the interest of good karma for all, take a look at the lovely designs on A Day For Daisies---seriously cute fairies and unique flowers. :)

Help me make a tutorial on photographing cards :)

I am assembling a blog tutorial on taking good photos of cards and I wanted  your suggestions for links. 
If you have a good link that has helped you, please share it. I think this is the other half of carding that is so hard to master: A beautiful presentation of an amazing card takes your breath away and I often wonder "How did they do that?" If you know of a gorgeous crafter that shows off their cards in a way that inspires you, please share the link. Photos are copyrighted, so be sure that you aren't copying them, but you can apply techniques in your own special way. :) 


Once I get some information together, I will post relevant links and some how-tos for us all...I would like to improve my shots for sure. :) It is often just a matter of lighting and angles, but you have to know how....so let's see if we can't assemble some of the best tricks and tips. :)

Replacement Fairy House Freebie--and lots of freebies

Okay, it seems I am all about freebies the past few days. LOL With very good reason...thanks to all the lovely new members and old ones too. :)

I offered a fairy house as a freebie about a month ago, but I have updated it since and made it more whimsical. The original didn't really match the dainty fairies. I like this one better with the roses to match Fairy Fae. I need a favor though...I would like you to replace the old version with this new version. I won't be keeping the old version in the shop and don't want people to be confused and looking for it, so please don't use the old one anymore. Switch to these new versions....I have two versions now...one blank for paper piecing and one with delicate roses.

Spider Web Design Paper Freebie
