The bear card is for my daughter (reverse mother's day card LOL) to say how happy I am to be her mom. :D.

Now it is not always pleasant to start a website or blog, but I have had the best experience with my new favortitest person in the world, Michelle of Polka Dot Dandy. I have to give her a big thank you for exceptional patience, a very clear vision, and quick responses and changes to my very picky vision of how I wanted my new site to work and she has made this experience so easy and pleasant that I have been amazed.

If you need a blog background or website template to suit budgets large and small, you might want to give PolkaDotDandy a peek (I don't get any referral credit or points for recommending her, but I just think she is that good. :D). You will see tons of crazy-happy recommendations from her clients and now I know why. She does exceptional work! So no matter what you need for a site, she probably has it in pre-made templates (blogs and websites) or through custom work. I can't recommend her services enough. :)

The Tiddly Inks site is almost ready and has about 50 files loaded...we should have the rest up and loaded in a few days. We are ironing out the downloading process and then it will be ready for shopping! Wahoo! No more emailed files...All of files will now be available as soon as you purchase. :) You pay through PayPal and then follow the link back to the shop and get your files in a link...It isn't completely ready to go yet, so please wait until I give thumbs up before you shop...I will be having an opening sale, so double incentive to wait...LOL

I will be working on adding more files after the first set as soon as I can, so check back each Tuesday to see what is new. This will be an evolving process and I look forward to providing many more digital images and papers (and in the future, physical gifts like baby blankets, mirrors and notecards). :)

Yay! :) Help me with an 800 member freebie

Okay, so I was going to do a freebie every 200 PCP members but you ladies are way ahead of my time schedule. LOL For which I am very grateful, so I will try to get an 800 member freebie up by tomorrow. :)

It has only taken a week or so to gain the most recent 200 members and I just haven't been able to keep up. I need some ideas...LOL I am saving most of the shop images for the store opening and I have been creating the freebies just for the group...but I am stuck today for a quick and still needed fun image...Wanna leave me a thought?

Leave me a note with an idea for the next freebie and I will see what I can do by Saturday. :) I will credit you with the idea for the stamp and give you a pick of any image in the store right now if I use your idea. :) Please be specific though...if you just say Mother's Day, there will doubtless be others listing the same idea. :)

I had a few minutes to make a card a few nights ago with Annie. :) She will be available in the new shop that will be open....very soon. :)

A Plug for my Rubbah Half :)

Just a quick reminder that Stamping Bella is having a new release this week...and she scored a coup by getting Mo to design some images for her. I am a huge fan of Mo! :) Her images all make me smile, but especially that lovely-shaped grandma dancing. :) I wanna be that sandal-wearing grandma in about 30 years. LOL

This is my last year to do so, but I teach reading 3 days a week at our local school and the other day I was reading with students and thought the illustrations looked like Mo's digis....I checked and sure enough the illustrations were by MJM herself. I giggled out loud and I am sure the kids thought I was kooky (well, I am, but you know). :)

So a big welcome to the very talented Mo and go peek at da Bella's new stuff on Friday and see what is up. I have some Izzies coming out (I think :D).

How To Download Files on the PCP Group

I have had a couple of questions about how to download the zip files with the free images, so I thought I would post a little visual tutorial for those of us (like moi') who need a picture. Click on the image to make it a bit bigger.

To actually get to the Tiddly Inks group on Paper Craft Planet, you must request to join if you are not a member. Click here to either visit the group page or join.

Thanks so much for the well wishes yesterday. I think I am going to live, despite my desire to not do so for a few hours yesterday :). Thanks also for waiting patiently for the design team announcement and for the freebie image for 700+ members. Yay! :)

DT announcement postponed until April 12

Hi everyone,
I am here to apologize for a delay in the announcement of my design team...they are picked and they have been notified, but I had some other guest spots lined up too and I want to do the announcement justice and I just can't today.
I have been run over by a truck---well, the germ-filled truck that got my daughter on Friday and I haven't left my bed today except to write this apology. If it runs a course similar to my daughter's illness I will be fine tomorrow, but for today, I am going back to bed. I have a very high fever, so if none of this makes sense, I apologize for that too...LOL
See you all tomorrow and thanks for understanding.

Deep Thoughts and Thanks :)

Over the past week, I have gotten many lovely notes and personal correspondence from artists trying out for the design team and just from people who wanted to say something positive. It has really touched my heart and motivated me to want to do more. :) I can't thank each of them enough for making this so much fun and for being involved enough to send me a note...how neat is that. :) I love hearing from you with photos of your creations and links to your blogs. Seeing what stampers do with the designs makes my day. :) I can't always make it to your blog that day, but I try to. When I work from home, it is on a dial-up connection (we are very rural), so sometimes, I can just stop for a second and browse without commenting. I still want to hear from you....I still want to visit, so please share. :)

When I started making stamps several years ago, I wondered how I would feel when seeing my doodles out there, but it is an amazing thing. Once it is out there, it becomes transformed by the artists that take over from my line drawing. It feels like a new art piece every time I see that neat design and layout. Just think of the variety of cards that happens, even with the same image. (Go take a look at the design team cards to see what I mean.)
That is my favorite part. If I kept all these doodles to myself I wouldn't get to participate in that amazing process. I do a little happy dance each time I see a card with an amazing color job and a great design...and it is my line drawing. I feel so happy that something special and unique was created....

Am I sounding cheesy?? LOL It is true though. :) I really do feel lucky to draw what I love and then have others love it enough to create something even better with it....It is a great combination. :)

Thank you for participating in this process and for sharing it with me. Let's hope we do so for a long time. :)

PS: In the notes, a couple of people have asked if I am still making stamps for Stamping Bella...and yes, I am. :) The designs I will have on the digi site are just for my pleasure and mean something personal to me. I absolutely love Emily (the owner of Bella) and we are friends....our brains just fit together and she gets me. I will be sticking with Bella (for her great brain and hair LOL and for the simple fact that she believed in my art enough to help me believe in it too). Just an FYI though, the designs for Bella are not going to be digis and the digis are not going to be Bellas, so you get the best of both worlds. Thanks for making a spot in your art world for them both. :)
